HOT POWER Practiced in a hot room, this invigorating class allows students to explore their balance, strength, and flexibility. The sun salutation series is incorporated into the dynamic flow of postures (shorter rest periods than a typical hatha class). The heat warms and relaxes your body, promotes a deeper and safer stretch, and also facilitates the release of toxins; bringing the body into a more balanced state. Regular practice of hot yoga can increase muscle tone, burn fat, increase flexibility, strengthen the immune system, improve sleeping, and support a vibrant health and well-being. The class is 1hour and 15min – the first hour being quite vigorous/active, and the last 15minutes are spent in more passive, relaxing postures. Previous yoga experience is recommended.

HATHA FLOW YOGA has a continuous breath-linking movement, streaming effortlessly from one posture to the next.  Each class breaks down the sequences before bringing you into a dynamic flow.  It is a wonderful, graceful way to feel your body dancing with your breath. This class allows you to deepen your yoga practice and become a more mindful, joyful and happy being. Open to all levels.

HOT FLOW-this hatha based class involves a variety of postures, breath work and sun salutations; designed to cleanse and rejuvenate your entire body. PARTNER YOGA-Double your fun with partner yoga! Poses are done back to back, side-by-side, and facing each other. Practicing yoga with a partner truly allows you to experience the practice not only within your own body, mind and soul – but also exchanging these qualities with another person. The shared experience builds awareness of your potential to support others, and draw strength and grace from your partner. The word “yoga” means “union” in Sanskrit, so bring a friend, family member, colleague or partner and share the practice and benefits of yoga together. Open to all levels.

YIN YANG YOGA combines the balancing and complementary effects of passive (Yin) and active (Yang) postures. Yin yoga is a slow, deep practice that increases your flexibility by stretching and stimulating the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Postures are held for up to a few minutes to encourage a deepening of awareness and sensation in the body. Yang yoga is a dynamic practice that focuses on the muscles and builds energy and heat in the body to create strength and endurance. Open to all levels.

POWER YOGA are lively, energetic, flowing classes synchronizing breath with movement to build strength, flexibility, and concentration, cleanse the body and calm the mind. Vinyasa Power Flow (Power Yoga) classes do not follow a set sequence of postures. Each class is unique and will vary from teacher to teacher. You can always expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work (pranayama). This class is suitable for those that are experienced in their yoga practice.

YOGA TO GO – Bringing yoga to you at your home, office or desired location.

PRIVATE LESSONS: In the comfort of your home or shanti-living yoga studio working with a certified Yoga Rama Lotus teacher, you will be guided in each and every movement during a class. These 1-on-1 sessions allow the student to explore specific areas of interest such as alignment in asanas, philosophy, chanting, etc.
